On the evening of Friday the 7th of February 2014, the I.T. experts at QBT Consulting invited some well respected clients, including Van Eyk, BPM  and iSeek down to Spitfire Paintball & Go Karts for a Go Kart fundraising event for Variety, the Children’s Charity. This amazing event was a huge success with a fantastic amount of money raised towards the charity.

Variety offers vital assistance to children with special needs and improves their quality of life. Variety each year allocates money to appears for Sunshine Coaches, special medical equipment, wheelchairs, standers, vocal and output speech devices, prosthetic limbs, playground equipment and vehicle modifications. They do an amazing job and Spitfire were proud to be a part of this event. – https://variety.org.au/

The QBT Consulting Go Kart Fundraising event started at 5pm on the Friday evening, with 5 teams of 6 Go Kart drivers competing for the top prize, 15 heats were held with the 1st, 2nd and 3rd fastest average lap time receiving points towards the finals.
Through the event, a number of fine’s were handed to driver’s for offences such as getting stuck on barriers, holding up other drivers, worst helmet hair and slowest lap among others – resulting in another $1000 towards Variety.
In the end it came down to the Semi-Finals and Grand-Final … it’s hard to tell who the legitimate winner was as there were a number of bribes going on of the officials (all in the name of Charity) – however the lap time’s were getting faster and faster and some of the most epic Go Karting action was on display.

The Go Karting event was a huge success with loads of money being raised and everyone having a fantastic time.

Spitfire Paintball & Go Karts looks forward to the next event and encourages anyone looking at organising a Corporate Event or Charity event to give us a call.
